This Thursday November 30 th  Toronto’s 2018 proposed budget  will be released. Will it include the funds needed for TransformTO in 2018? We’ll be watching to find out!

WARD ORGANIZING:  We are looking for your support to help bring your councillors’ vote on side for full funding for TransformTO. This takes your signature on the petition one step further to getting the votes we need for the funding. Please use the  model letter  to send to your councillor, to the Mayor, and to the Budget Committee. SAVE THE DATE: Deputations will be held Jan 8 th , 9 th , and 10 th , and you can speak or submit written comments on the budget at that time.

November 30 th  is also the   final TCFF film night for 2017 , at the Noor Cultural Centre, 123 Wynford Drive in North York, 6:30 pm. PHOTO CONTEST!!! Imagine Toronto 2050!

#Picture2050 is a Photography Contest for photographers of all ages, inspired by the Toronto’s TransformTO Climate Plan


The goal of the plan is to reduce Toronto’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and build a healthy, equitable and prosperous city.  Imagine Toronto in the year 2050.  What does a caring, thriving, climate-friendly city of the future look like?

There are 3 award categories:  Kids, age 11 and under Youth, age 12-17 Adults, age 18 and over.

Submit  up to 3 photos by  December 15th, 2017 -  Find all the contest rules and submit your photos on the contest website: picture2050.ca

The plan is to use this photo contest to build visibility and support for funding TransformTO.
