Help to get the word out - feel free to forward!

AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH – ON NOW IN TORONTO TO AUGUST 9TH!
Today and until Wednesday August 9th you can see an amazing film profiling the work of Al Gore, the building of the Climate Reality movement, and the inside story of the Paris summit that resulted in the Paris Accord of Dec 2015, the film The Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power.  You will witness the tremendous destruction that is happening around the world as the climate crisis deepens – and you will be inspired by the new possibilities for change offered by the renewable energy revolution.  Check it out and go if you can:

and on November 13th - Sea of Life at  Trinity St. Paul's, with the film-maker, Julia Barnes.

We are currently booking other locations and times and we need your help with one or more of these events!  4 showings in October: Time to Choose  in November: Sea of Life  and in January: Tomorrow/Demain.  Can you help?

Please contact Joe at volunteer@climatefast.ca   Or come to our planning meeting this Wednesday August 9th, 6:30 pm, at Friends House, 60 Lowther Ave.  RSVP to dan@climatefast.ca if you can come.

Our goal is to build support for the TransformTO climate action program at the City and in particular to advocate for the full 2018 budget allocation.  We'll have the TransformTO petition to the councillors at each event along with other info tables.  We hope you are as excited as we are at the potential of mobilizing large numbers of Torontonians and seeing a successful implementation of TransformTO!
