YOUTH VIDEO CONTEST!

New Youth Video Challenge Takes Aim at Inaction on Climate Change  - deadline June 10th

Young people across the country have a chance to be heard clearly on climate change. The Plan E Video Challenge is for youth aged 18 and under. It’s the first of many initiatives being spearheaded by Plan E (environment), a new organization dedicated to equipping the next generation of Canadian youth with the tools, resources and platforms to champion solutions of climate issues. Young people are being asked to submit a video no longer than three minutes by June 10th. Videos should have a compelling message and visuals and be done in the most creative way possible. A panel of high profile Canadian judges will review them and choose a series of winning entries later this spring. Winners will receive opportunities to screen their videos at Canadian film festivals (Planet in Focus), a chance to win $1000.00 and the opportunity to attend climate events across the country. To enter the challenge, or to learn more, please visit:  www.plan-e.cc  For questions about the challenge, or to request an information session on applying for your classroom please contact Mikayla Wujec, Program Director at mikayla@eloraenvironmentcentre.ca Please also follow us on  Instagram  and  Facebook  for more details.

Thanks for all you are doing! Together we are making a climate-safe future a reality!
