45% of Canada’s emissions come from household choices. If we’re going to meet our international reduction targets we all need to work together for change. We will take a look at the connections between systems change and individual choices, and see that what we do as individuals really makes a difference. If you’ve wanted to take action but don’t know where to start this is the session for you!

We hope that at the end of this workshop participants will:

1) Know how to measure their carbon footprint and understand how our daily choices impact climate change
2) Start to think about their own personal process for making change in their lives
3) Make a Climate Pledge and have ideas for how to reduce their personal footprint
4) Understand the links between systems change and individual choices
5) Feel energized and inspired!

Speakers Include:

Matthew Lie-Paehlke and Myrtle Millares, Climate Pledge Collective
Colleen Lynch, ClimateFast
