MAY DAY FOR CLIMATE ACTION!  Can you send a letter?

Climate Fast asks all of us to send letters to our MPs with our concern for Climate Action.  This is especially important right now leading up to a federal election in the fall of 2015.  Let the MPs know you are concerned!

ClimateFast has pledges from 130 MPs and 15 senators to work toward 1)ending fossil fuel subsides 2) putting a price on carbon and 3) developing a renewable energy plan for Canada.  There is a sample letter and other suggestions for actions and resources on the ClimateFast website. When you recieve a reply from your letter (or if there is no reply) please let us know. Your letters are very important!

ClimateFast held a vigil on Parliament Hill during Earth Week, met with senators and MPs, and delivered a statement on behalf of 35 climate justice and civil society organizations to Prime Minister Harper's office on Earth Day.

Tell us how you marked Earth Day, or May Day with fasting or climate action in your community or with your circle of friends. We'd love to hear from you by email.
