Fantastic news everyone – climate has moved to one of the top issues in the election thanks to all of our organizing, letter writing, environmental debates, and the activism expressed in the ClimateStrike rallies and Extinction Rebellion actions.
Now it’s time to turn this concern to electing climate champions to Parliament!
Several groups are organizing support for Climate Champions. The champions chosen though from different parties have in common their concern for climate action, and that with enough support, they could win. LeadNow’s Cooperate for Climate campaign is at www.cooperateforclimate.ca; they seek phoning and canvassing support, GreenPAC (www.greenpac.ca), and our-time.ca has a list too.
