ClimateFast 2013

Dear friends,

Monday was day three of the ClimateFast and the first weekday. Our presence on the Hill this week is especially important because the "IPCC Summary for Policy Makers for the Working Group I report" will be released on Friday (27 September 2013). We must make a strong statement in support of this important report. Already many deniers are attempting to discredit the report. We mustn't let that happen.

Today we added this to the Resource page on the ClimateFast site:
Franke James is a Toronto artist whose European tour was derailed by the Canadian government who sought to censor her message that climate change requires urgent action.  Franke sought documents through freedom-of-information and wrote a book 'Banned on the Hill'. Franke's graphic art is a joy to read.
Read her letter to the prime minister here: - then send your own. A sample letter to your MP is on our website, with cc addresses including the Prime Minister, other ministers, the party leaders, and critics. Your MP, the PM, and party leaders need to hear your message!

We've also started adding photos to the Follow Us page
